Kurt Shoemaker is Director of Compliance and Government Relations and has been with Paylocity since 2013. Prior to joining Paylocity Kurt managed payroll tax for a major fortune 500 company and spent time at the Internal Revenue Service as a Tax Examiner.
Kurt represents Paylocity’s membership with the NPRC (National Payroll Reporting Consortium) where he spends time working with tax administrators in understanding and implementing regulatory changes impacting payroll tax reporting. As a Policy Director for NPRC Kurt specializes in State Mandated Paid Family and Medical Leave and has worked with many states in implementing their premium collections and wage reporting programs.
He also manages Paylocity’s Compliance and Government Relations team assisting internal business partners in maintaining product compliance and conducting agency relations while providing compliance support.
